FAIR-IMPACT has launched its second Open Call for financial support, providing five different support actions to help researchers create PID policies, improve the FAIRness of their research software, and more. 

This support is ideal for those already well-versed in FAIR-enabling practices and ready to test specific tools and approaches. Successful applicants will receive financial support to participate in virtual workshops and carry out independent work to implement different tools, methods, or approaches. Additionally, they will receive expert guidance and advice from FAIR-IMPACT mentors. This Open Call includes support actions relating to:

• creating EOSC-compliant persistent identifier policies using the FAIRCORE4EOSC Compliance Assessment Tool (CAT)
• implementing recommendations for creating FAIR research software
• assessing the FAIRness of research software using a tailored version of F-UJI
• drafting recommendations for improving the transparency and trustworthiness of data repositories
• monitoring the research data policy landscape using FAIRsharing
