The Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) Digital Gathering 2024 (#DG24) will be held at The University of Manchester on 11-12 September 2024. This event brings together the NERC research community to showcase how digital technologies are increasingly important in environmental research. The gathering will highlight results from NERC-funded research, ongoing work of the Environmental Data Service (EDS), and NERC’s Data Centres. Attendees can expect to hear from leaders in digital research from both academia and industry, including speakers from Microsoft, Nvidia, and Esri.
For the BioDT community, a key highlight of the event will be a presentation by Simon Rolph from the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology (UKCEH) on Thursday, 12th September.
