BioDT at SPNHC & TDWG 2024

The Biodiversity Digital Twin (BioDT) project actively partecipates in the upcoming joint conference of the Society for the Preservation of Natural History Collections (SPNHC) and Biodiversity Information Standards (TDWG). This hybrid event will be held in Okinawa, Japan, from September 2nd to 6th, 2024, offering attendees the flexibility to participate in person or online.
As part of the conference program, BioDT project partners, Dmitry Schigel and Sharif Islam host Symposium 06: “Biodiversity Data Standards and FAIR in Prototyping Biodiversity Digital Twins”. This open symposium invites researchers to submit abstracts that explore the crucial role of data standardization and FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) in developing functional biodiversity digital twins.
